Benjamin Beilman, violin

Violinist Benjamin Beilman has won international praise for both his passionate performances and deep, rich tone. The New York Times lauded his “handsome technique, burnished sound, and quiet confidence,” and the Strad described his playing as “pure poetry.” In the 2019–2020 season, Beilman will perform with the Budapest Festival Orchestra, Orchestre Métropolitain de Montréal, Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse, Wroclaw Philharmonic, Utah Symphony, Pacific Symphony, Danish National Symphony, Antwerp Symphony, and London Chamber Orchestra. His 2019–2020 debuts include appearances with the Minnesota Orchestra, Gürzenich Orchestra Cologne, and Tonkünstler Orchestra. Beilman is the recipient of a Borletti-Buitoni Trust Fellowship, an Avery Fisher Career Grant, and a London Music Masters Award. He plays the “Engleman” Stradivarius from 1709 generously on loan from the Nippon Music Foundation.
