Artist Bio

Anna Geniushene, piano

Born in Moscow, pianist Anna Geniushene made her recital debut seven years later in the hall of the Berlin Philharmonic. She has since performed in major venues throughout North and South America, Europe, and Asia, and appeared with famed conductors, including Marin Alsop, Edward Gardner, and Nicholas McGegan. She is a laureate of major international piano contests including the Leeds, Tchaikovsky, Cliburn, and Busoni competitions. Geniushene graduated from the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory and completed her master’s and advanced diploma at the Royal Academy of Music. Also an enthusiastic teacher, she served as Assistant Professor at the Moscow Conservatory until 2022.
