

Pianist-composer Michael Stephen Brown has been hailed by the New York Times as “one of the leading figures in the current renaissance of performer-composers.” Winner of a 2015 Avery Fisher Career Grant, he appears regularly with the Seattle, Albany, Maryland, New Haven, and Erie Symphony Orchestras and with the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center. He was selected by pianist András Schiff to perform across the United States and Europe.
