In addition to direct financial support, there are numerous ways in which individuals and organizations can contribute to the festival.
A strong team of friendly, enthusiastic, and hardworking volunteers always is needed to help the festival run smoothly. Music@Menlo volunteers (“Friends of the Festival”) contribute their time in a variety of ways, including ushering at concerts, providing general festival hospitality at the Welcome Center, and helping with large mailings throughout the year. Each season, approximately forty musicians will visit Music@Menlo, each staying anywhere from three days to two weeks. The festival is committed to housing musicians in private homes. This is a wonderful way for world-class artists to connect directly with the local community. If you can offer semi-private quarters in your home with a private bath to a musician, you not only will be helping the festival, but also will be forming a new friendship.
