2022 Benefit Concert and Reception

Please note: Due to concerns over the current Omicron COVID-19 outbreak, this event will now take place on March 13, having been postponed from the originally planned date of February 5.

Music@Menlo presents its annual Chamber Music Institute Benefit Concert and Reception, offering the opportunity to hear extraordinary alumni of the CMI in performance. By attending, you will help to raise vital funds for outstanding young artists launching their chamber music careers.

The program features works by Ludwig van Beethoven, Dmitri Shostakovich, and Amy Beach. Beach was the first successful American female composer of large-scale art music; her Gaelic Symphony, premiered by the Boston Symphony Orchestra in 1896, was the first symphony published by an American woman.
