Last year, she won the Barbara Boissard Concerto Competition 2023, performing the Dvorak Cello Concerto with the RCMJD orchestra. Jacqueline has spent the last two summers as principal cellist in the World Youth Symphony Orchestra at Interlochen Arts Camp 2022, and the Young Artists Orchestra of BUTI 2023, as well as participating in the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain. She was also principal cellist in the National Children’s Orchestra of Great Britain. She has performed in halls such as Cadogan Hall, Royal Festival Hall and Seiji Ozawa Hall. At St. Paul’s Girls’ School, Jacqueline has been a Music Scholar for 5 years, taking part in fundraising concerts and local school partnerships. She especially enjoys giving primary school students music lessons and making music-learning as accessible as possible. During the lockdown in 2020, Jacqueline and her younger sister Evelyn organised a YouTube livestream fundraiser, in which they performed the Barriere Sonata in G Major for Two Cellos. In the 10-minute YouTube livestream, they raised over $5,000 for the NHS Masks for Heroes charity, which sought to secure alternative sources of protective gear for National Health Service workers during a time of acute shortage.

Jacqueline loves to discover different countries and cultures. For her, music is a great way to meet people from around the world. She looks forward to collaborating with the musicians at Music@Menlo.
