Amelia Lee started playing violin when she was 5 years old. The moment she first encountered a violin, she immediately fell in love with the sound of the instrument and begged her parents to provide a violin for her. Since then, Amelia grew her unique characteristics as a violin soloist through extensive training and perseverance.
Amelia is grateful to have Mr. Kenneth Renshaw as her current private instructor. Through Mr. Renshaw’s intense coaching and guidance, Amelia has tremendously developed not only in technical skills, but also in portraying her unique expressions through music, bringing ways to display her passion to life. Together, they were able to maximize Amelia’s potential and made Amelia enjoy new challenges through intensive music program and competitions, including Heifetz 2023, VIVO International Music Competition, and Prima Volta. She was also invited to perform at Romanian Athenaeum in Bucharest, Romania, and has performed in prestigious venues, including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and Merkin Concert Hall at Kaufman Music Center.
Amelia’s goal is to excel in the performance in violin in order to provide music everywhere, including those places where music is not readily accessible. She wants to be an ambassador of violin to those who pursue enjoyable music. Amelia is also excited to create such dynamic with other players to bring true harmonics in music.
