Artist Bio

Audrey Goodner, violin

Violinist Audrey Goodner is a recent graduate at Langley HS in McLean, Virginia. She has recently garnered numerous accolades as soloist with the San Jose Chamber Orchestra, Second Prize winner of the 38th Irving M. Klein International String Competition, Fourth Prize at the 2022 Thomas & Evon Cooper International Violin Competition, and concerto competition winner for both the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra and United States Army Band Young Artist Competitions.  As concertmaster of the Langley HS Orchestra and the American Youth Philharmonic Orchestra, Audrey has been a featured soloist at Carnegie Hall and throughout the Washington D.C. area. Audrey’s participation as a member of the National Symphony’s Youth Fellowship Program has also provided numerous chamber music and solo performances at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, the Italian Embassy, and the District of Columbia Public Schools. 

Audrey studies violin with Ryan Meehan of the Calidore String Quartet and Jing Qiao of the National Symphony Orchestra. Audrey studied six summers with Danielle Belen at the University of Michigan’s Center Stage Strings.  Recent summer studies have included two years with Sibbi Bernhardsson at the Harpa International Music Academy in Reykjavík, Iceland. This is Audrey’s third summer in the Music@Menlo Young Performer’s Program. She will begin studies at The Curtis Institute of Music this fall.
