Audrey Ang, violin

Audrey Ang, a 13-year-old violinist, began her musical journey at the Special Music School of Kaufman Music Center in NYC, where she received a full scholarship. Since 2022, Audrey has studied at Juilliard Pre-College, under the tutelage of Mr. Li Lin and Mr. Kenneth Renshaw. Audrey has already won numerous competition awards, including Grand Prize in the International Young Artists Competition of NLPA in 2022, and 1st Prize in the IV International Youth Music Competition. She has also won five 1st prizes at the Vivo International Music Competition between 2018 and 2021. Audrey's talent has taken her to summer festivals such as the Heifetz International Music Institute, Cremona International Music Academy and Festival, and Prague String Festival. In addition to her solo performances, Audrey has gained chamber music experience, playing in a variety of ensembles. She has been appointed Concertmaster in several orchestras including the Pre-College String Orchestra at Juilliard, La Piccola Virtuosi String Orchestra at the Special Music School, as well as the Junior String Orchestra of Cremona International Music Academy and Festival. Audrey has performed in prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall, Merkin Hall, the Museo Del Violino Concert Hall in Cremona, and the Tsuen Wan Town Hall Auditorium in Hong Kong. She has also participated in master classes with Mr. Cho-Liang Lin.
