Bassist Anthony Manzo’s vibrantly interactive music making has made him a ubiquitous figure in the upper echelons of classical music. He performs regularly at venues such as Lincoln Center and Boston’s Symphony Hall and at festivals including Spoleto USA and La Jolla SummerFest. He appears regularly with the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center and with chamber groups and chamber orchestras across the country. Manzo has also been guest Principal Bass with Camerata Salzburg during its summer residency at the Salzburg Festival and on two European tours as a soloist alongside bass-baritone Thomas Quasthoff. Manzo is an active performer on period instruments and teaches at the University of Maryland.
