Iranian and Pakistani-American flutist Amir Hoshang Farsi is an active performer and educator from the San Francisco Bay Area. Farsi has been featured in numerous chamber music concerts at the Yale School of Music and with the United Nations Chamber Music Society. Farsi has performed at the Norfolk, St. Lawrence String Quartet, and Marrowstone summer festivals. In October 2019, Farsi made his Carnegie Hall debut with the United Nations Chamber Music Society and is looking forward to his first performance at the Music@Menlo Festival. He is a graduate of the Yale School of Music and Peabody Conservatory, where he studied with Ransom Wilson and Marina Piccinini.
