Known for his “delicious quality of tone,” Kevin Rivard, Coprincipal Horn of the San Francisco Opera Orchestra and Principal Horn of the San Francisco Ballet Orchestra, has performed with Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, the Philadelphia Orchestra, and the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, among others. His awards include Grand Prize at the Concours International d’Interprétation Musicale in Paris, the International Horn Competition of America, and the Farkas Horn Competition. Kevin Rivard has participated in the Sarasota Music Festival, the Norfolk Chamber Music Festival, the Verbier Festival, and the Santa Fe Opera.
