Moritz Winkelmann soloed with the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Staatstheater Niedersachsen (Germany), the Varna and Mannheim Philharmonics, Freiburg and Kurpfalz Chamber Orchestras, Camerata Freiburg, and Mannheimer Ensemble. He performed at the Rheingau, Schwetzingen, and Schleswig-Holstein festivals, and was a fellow at the Ravinia and Music@Menlo Festivals (2011). He made his American debut at Weill Hall at Carnegie Hall (2010). First prizes: Harrison Winter Competition, Richard Laugs Piano Competition, Baden-Wrttemberg Tone-Art competition, Mannheim Nationaltheater Competition (including Mozart Special Prize) and National Young Musicians Competition Stuttgart. Recordings broadcasted on Southern German Radio (SWR2) and WBJC Baltimore Classical Radio. TV broadcast by German National TV (ZDF).
