Music@Menlo offers its concerts in four unique and intimate concert spaces:
Completed in 2009, the Center for Performing Arts at Menlo-Atherton is the Peninsula’s first state-of-the-art concert hall, acoustically ideal for chamber music. With an inviting contemporary design and intimate interior, the 492-seat hall is located in close proximity to downtown Menlo Park on the campus of Menlo-Atherton High School.
On the campus of Menlo School in Atherton, Stent Family Hall is, in the words of one Music@Menlo musician, “one of the world’s most exquisite chamber music spaces.” The hall’s elegant Spieker Ballroom, with seating for 140 guests, provides a concert experience for listeners wanting to hear chamber music in the intimate setting for which it was intended.
Menlo School’s versatile 180-seat multimedia facility, offers up-close enjoyment from every seat for festival events such as Encounters and select Prelude Performances, master classes, and Café Conversations.
Located in midtown Palo Alto, St. Mark’s Episcopal Church offers an atmosphere of lovely arched wood ceilings and stained-glass windows, acoustically ideal for chamber music. The venue features 320 seats configured for up-close enjoyment from every seat and attractive grounds, patio, and garden, perfect for a pleasant intermission stroll.
