Philip Setzer

Violinist Philip Setzer, founder of the Emerson String Quartet, has appeared with several world-renowned orchestras around the globe. He has participated in the Marlboro Music Festival and has been a regular faculty member of the Isaac Stern Chamber Music Workshops at Carnegie Hall and the Jerusalem Music Center. Philip Setzer teaches as Professor of Violin and Chamber Music at SUNY Stony Brook and gives master classes at schools around the world.
