Dennis Godburn

Widely regarded as one of today’s premier bassoon soloists, Dennis Godburn pursues a distinguished career as a performer of Baroque, Classical, and modern bassoons, concertizing throughout the United States, Europe, Japan, and South America. He has served as Principal Bassoonist for the Orchestra of St. Luke’s since 1976 and is also a member of the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra. He has performed with the Metropolitan Opera and Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra, among many others.
