Francesca dePasquale, violin

Violinist Francesca dePasquale has been celebrated internationally for her purity and intensity of artistry, described by critics as a mature artist fully formed at a young age and equal to any challenge" (Peninsula Reviews) and "clearly a talent to watch" (Pasadena Star News). Committed to a career that balances solo, chamber, and orchestral music performance with pedagogy and outreach, Francesca is the First Prize Winner of the 2010 Irving M. Klein International String Competition and Teaching Assistant to Itzhak Perlman at The Juilliard School as a Starling Fellow, where she studies with Mr. Perlman and Catherine Cho as a Master of Music degree candidate. Previously studying with Robert Lipsett, Francesca earned her Bachelor of Music degree from the Colburn School Conservatory of Music."
